Being that the health industry in United Arab Emirates is one of the leading in the world, it has been looking for greater expansions day by day. The government is looking to increase the quality care provided by the facilities and are now making a move towards the biggest expansion for medical examination centers in the whole region.
According to the plan announced by The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), the count for centers needs to reach a total of 18 in a matter of month in order to ensure full function and specializations. Currently the number of medical examination centers is 10 which needs to be upped with 8 more to reach their goals. The current 10 centers were able to serve almost 750,000 customers in 2018 alone. This number is expected to double when the rest of the centers are launched and distributed all over the region.
This was commented on by the Undersecretary of the Ministry’s Health Assistant Sector, Health Centers and Clinics, Dr. Hussein Abdel-Rahman Al-Rand by saying, “’At MoHAP, we focus on the customer-centric services. For that reason, we are expanding our network centers and adding new services to provide medical examinations for residency. These new centers are forming an important addition to our sophisticated medical services, as part of MoHAP’s strategy aiming to provide comprehensive and integrated healthcare services as per the highest standards of excellence.”
